FAQ

What construction teams usually ask.

Sitewise is a mobile-first app for UK construction teams. It pulls the day-to-day admin into one place, organised around the job: workers, hours, invoices, CIS, materials, inspections, sign-offs, documents and site records. Instead of chasing information across chats, paper and spreadsheets, the record builds itself as the work happens on site.
No. Logging hours is one part of it. Sitewise also handles worker invoices, CIS, material requests, job profitability, inspections, corrective actions, document sign-offs and reports. A timesheet app tells you who worked when; Sitewise keeps the whole record of how the job was run.
Yes. A worker logs hours, days or an agreed amount against a job, and once it is approved they can generate an invoice with a unique number and send it straight to the admin email. No separate invoicing app, no PDFs lost across five inboxes, and the figure already matches the work that was approved.
Where CIS applies, Sitewise shows the gross figure, the 20% deduction and the net, so both admin and the worker can see exactly what is being paid and why. It keeps cleaner records for pay and for the CIS return, rather than working it out on a calculator the night before. It does not replace your accountant or file returns for you.
Yes. When a worker submits hours, the admin can approve, query or reject them, and every decision is timestamped against the worker and the job. If something does not look right you can query it there and then, so the conversation and the record stay in the same place instead of in a group chat.
Yes. Approved labour rolls into the job, so you can see labour spend building up against each site while the job is still live. That means you spot a job eating its margin in week two, not when the final figures land months later.
Sitewise is built for UK trades and construction firms of every kind: builders, plumbers, electricians, roofers, carpenters, joiners, groundworkers, plasterers, bricklayers and more, from sole traders to growing teams. It works for the company owners, site managers and office teams who run the jobs, and the subcontractors and workers on the tools. It suits firms that have grown past WhatsApp, paper and spreadsheets but do not want the weight of enterprise software.
Yes. Sitewise is a job management app for trades, so it works the same way for builders, plumbers, electricians, roofers, carpenters, joiners and groundworkers. Whatever the trade, the job runs in one place: log hours, raise and send invoices, handle CIS, request materials, run inspections and keep the whole site record together. There is no separate timesheet app, invoicing app or paperwork to chase.
Yes, because sites are not always blessed with signal. Hours, material requests, accident reports and other updates save on the device when there is no connection, show a clear saved indicator, and sync automatically once the phone is back online. Built for basements, steel frames and half-built houses.
Yes. There is a full health and safety side: structured site inspections, corrective actions with owners and due dates, RAMS, method statements and document sign-offs, plus accident and near-miss reporting with downloadable reports. It all sits on the job, so the proof lives with the work rather than in a folder no one can find.
Yes. A worker raises a material request against the specific job, with quantity, a note and how urgent it is. Admin can approve, query or reject it, and every request is tracked, so the order does not disappear into a chat at 6am and resurface as a problem on pour day.
Yes. There are two sides to the app. Admins manage jobs, workers, approvals, labour costs, materials, safety records and exports. Workers get a stripped-back view of only what is relevant to them: their shifts, the jobs they are on, logging hours, sending invoices, signing documents and requesting materials.
